History: Though Sarah's mother died when she was an infant, she still lived a fairly normal life. She went through training and learned proper etiquette, grace, and the way to properly rule a kingdom. She was raised by her dad, but inherited many of her traits from her mother Yuki, making her the new "yin" of the kingdom. While she was young, Sarah joined gymnastics, and fell in love with the sport. She did well in school and enjoyed learning about all the different realms and ways of the magical beings of the universe.
Sarah's powers were fully discovered when she turned sixteen. She learned to transform quickly. For half a year, Sarah attended the famous Alfea College for Fairies, and learned about magic in a way she never dreamed she could. She shared a dorm with a close friend of hers, Princess Stella of Solaria.
At the beginning of the school year, Sarah met a senior from the Red Fountain school named Rune. He was a citizen of Veronia, and charmed Sarah. King Keir greatly approved of their relationship, and saw great potential for the man. After dating for several months, Sarah found out that Rune was cheating on her. She broke up with him right away, never giving him a second chance no matter how much he begged for one. She is still hurt because of the incident, and finds it troublesome to trust men with her heart.
Halfway through her first year at Alfea, Stella and Sarah messed up a potion in the middle of the night, and were expelled from the school. Ashamed in herself, Sarah flees her kingdom along with her younger sister, Leslie. And thus, the adventures of Team Avatar are born.
Personality: Sarah is a kind-hearted girl. She believes in equality and peace, but knows that conflict is inevitable. She isn't afraid to stand up for herself or for her people. She is talented with gymnastics, but apart from that is not involved in sports. Being a first born princess, Sarah is used to getting her way, but when she doesn't, she can be stubborn. She's hard headed and works to achieve her goals. She's very polite and believes in proper etiquette. In order to understand others, Sarah tries seeing things from other people's points of view. However, because she thinks outside the box by habit, she tends to take things the wrong way. She is opposed by harsh personalities and poor manners.

Personality: Yuki loved her family and put them before everything. She was a gentle and kind ruler. She was a passive woman. She adored the night and passed her moon power on to her second daughter, Leslie. Her first daughter, Sarah, also received a power associated with the night sky.
History: Yuki met her husband, Prince Keir, during her senior year at Alfea College for Fairies. Yuki was visiting Veronia with a friend from school during a break. When she wandered off on her own, she had trouble finding her friend's house. Luckily, Keir was roaming the kingdom and helped her find her way back home. They stayed in contact after the incident, and eventually fell in love. The couple married after three years of dating, when Yuki was 22 and Keir was 30.
Yuki had her first child when she was 25 years old. Wanting to use a new, original style of name, Keir and Yuki decided to name their daughter Sarah. She was born as the fairy of the stars.
One year later, while she was 26, another daughter was born. Following suit of the new naming style, they named their child Leslie. She was born as the fairy of the moon.
Shortly after Leslie was born, the Queen gave her life to save her. As a result, Leslie's moon power was taken and replaced with lava. Since then, the balance of the entire kingdom was corrupted, and has been struggling to regain harmony ever since.

Behind the name: Keir is a name that means "dark." It applies to the "yang" of his personality. The yang is a large part of Veronia's overall balance. His last name, "Shiro," translates to "castle."

Personality: Keir is a focused man who loves an occasional fight. Though he may seem rough at first, he loves deeply and has great leadership skills. He is a natural born king and loves to rule his kingdom. He loves the sun and the daytime. Though they were strict opposites, Keir and Yuki taught each other many lessons. He misses his wife, and sometimes his memories of her effects his power to rule efficiently. Like his wife, Keir would do anything for his two children. In fifteen years, Keir has shown no interest in marrying or loving another woman.
History: Keir attended Red Fountain as a teenager and is skilled with swords. He has ruled his kingdom without a Queen for fifteen years.

Trivia: Because she left with Sarah, Leslie never got the change to attend Alfea. However, she is taught how to control her powers by Sarah.

Kalika is graceful and can be very alluring and manipulative. She tends to underestimate her enemies; however, she is a great leader and a great fighter. She shows constant greed and pride. She shows extreme wrath to anybody who does her wrong. Kalika is ruthless and will never stop trying to get what she wants.
